onefreepage.com is a SaaS micro-landing-page builder that lets creators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses publish a professional single-page web presence in minutes — no code required.
The client had a validated idea and needed a full-stack team to take it from Figma mockups to a production platform in 3 months. We delivered on time, and the platform onboarded 500+ businesses in its first 60 days.
Design Strategy
The design prioritised speed-to-publish: a new user should be able to create and publish their first page in under 5 minutes. We ran three rounds of usability testing and reduced the average time-to-first-publish from 12 minutes to 4 minutes across iterations.
The editor UI uses a “what you see is what you get” approach with a live mobile/desktop preview toggle, ensuring users are always confident in how their page will look before publishing.
A Note from the Lead Architect
The trickiest part was building the drag-and-drop page builder with real-time preview. We evaluated three different approaches before settling on a virtual DOM diffing strategy that kept the editor snappy even with complex layouts. The key insight was separating the editor state from the render state entirely.
